What do you do when someone files a false police report on you?

If it is provable then it is chargeable. It is a very serious crime to attempt to use the authority of law enforcement to harass another person or have them convicted of crime they did not commit. I have charged people with this crime and it is important that it is done whenever possible.

When people attempt to manipulate law enforcement in this manner it is an attack on the integrity of the department and should never be tolerated in the interest of he department and society.
