Salam alaykum.

Yes, Dr. Seyed Jumaa is known to me. I met him several years AFI when he had Al Amin TV on the same satellite as our channel, Guide US TV. I was a guest on his channel in a live call-in program hosted by his little daughter. It was a delightful experience. She really knew how to answer questions of callers and handle detractors.

I was invited to speak to the Reseda Muslim community many times by Dr. Jumaa. He has been a guest on our TV network as well and always demonstrated correct knowledge and good answers for callers and for the local audience in the building. I have visited his home, met his lovely family and enjoyed his humor on numerous occasions (food was excellent as well).

If there is any truth in these accusations I would make dua FOR Dr. Jumaa, not against him. And I would make dua for the one publicly exposing this information to be rightly guided, as this type of behavior is unacceptable in our society and our religion.

If this information is not true, I would still make dua for Dr. Jumaa and his family to be patient and seek refuge from Allah against such evil.

And regarding the one who is propagating this fitnah, I ask Allah to guide him and all of us away from such speculations, slander and backbiting, ameen.

I would also like to remind myself of the words of Allah in His Book, chapter 49, Surat Al-Hujarat:

“O you who have believed, avoid much [negative] assumption. Indeed, some assumption is sin. And do not spy or backbite each other. Would one of you like to eat the flesh of his dead brother? You would detest it. And fear Allah; indeed, Allah is Accepting of repentance and Merciful”.

Please do not forward such suspicions and leave it all for Allah. Jazakallah khair. Was salam,

Dear Brother Estes,

We are NOT making assumptions or slandering Sayed Jumaa Salam. Not by ANY means are we doing that. What we ARE doing is stating the TRUE FACTS. Sayed Jumaa is the one LYING & LYING & Lying. One lie has to back up all his other lies, and he thinks he can get away with it all because he is the Imam of the Islamic Center of Reseda (Masjid Reseda), so then, no one will be courageous enough to stand against him.

Some say that Donald Trump has displayed similar traits, and many want to IMPEACH him for that. We, as Muslims, who wish to be protected from HARM by an Imam want the same for Sayed Jumaa Salam. We want him IMPEACHED from his positions at Imam.

For years, I was the one always protecting Sayed Jumaa against criticism, always trying to give him yet another chance and another chance and another chance and another chance. But, I have seen that there is NO HOPE that this man will EVER come clean. He can NOT at this point, because he has deceived so many, so much, for so long that he could not face the shame, humiliation & embarrassment of admitting the truth at this point.

I pray that the Muslim brothers from the Islamic Center of Reseda will have the courage to file a class action lawsuit against Sayed Juma, & if necessary, against the Islamic Center of Reseda (Masjid Reseda), for the fraud that has been perpetrated upon the Muslim community. Believing Muslims DESERVE better!!!!

Dear Muslim Brothers & Sisters,

I am sorry to have to agree with those who campaign for the exposure of wrongdoing & the request for Sayed Jumaa Salam as Imam of the Islamic Center of Reseda (Masjid Reseda). I spent months writing Noor Al-Bayan, for which Sayed Jumaa had promised to pay me (but he NEVER paid me even one cent) and which he PROMISED me would have MY name on the COVER, along with his name; but, he TRICKED & DECEIVED me, putting his own name ONLY, while he used MY TALENT to pass off as his own, while the fact is that his writing ability is non-existent, and his claim of having written other Islamic books was simply COPYING other people’s works, the same way as he did in his pretending to be the author of MY work. He had also promised that I would share is the proceeds from the sale of Noor Al-Bayan, because of my months of hard work. Yet, again, it was all lies. The book is in its tenth printing and has reaped many hundreds of thousands of dollars for those who are financially benefiting from MY writing, but I have received NOTHING. For YEARS, Sayed Juma kept promising me that he would keep his word eventually – next time, in the NEXT printing, etc. But, it was all stall tactics. The last time that I saw Sayed Jumaa, at the Islamic Center of Reseda (Masjid Reseda), he gave me his typical phony compliments – stating he respects me soooooo much, but only ten minutes later, when I told him that I had tolerated enough of his lies & I demand that he keep his word regarding paying me & putting my name on the cover & sharing the proceeds with me – he replied by saying he would take me to court & get millions from me.

I think this man is seriously flawed, as least, and possibly even criminally minded.

I have boycotted the Islamic Center of Reseda (Masjid Reseda) ever since this rip off of my talent & exploitation of me and betrayal of my trust occurred. Aref Abedi has fully known the true facts, but he cares nothing BECAUSE he is making so much money from Noor Al-Bayan, and since Aref has parroted the same lies as a cover up of the truth – to pretend that I did not do all of the extensive work that I did do on Noor Al-Bayan, he can not NOW lose face by having to admit to the con that was done on me & the deception that he & Sayed Jumaa have pulled off, since September 2016 through now – at GREAT financial benefit to themselves!!!!

This is NOT Islam. I converted to Islam over 40 years ago now, and it had cost me EVERYTHING in my life, which I gave up in favor of Islam. This HYPOCRISY is NOT Islam!

Islamic Center of Reseda (Masjid Reseda) should do the RIGHT thing, admit to the truth, correct the wrongdoing & get rid of this conniver, masquerading as an Imam, Sayed Jumaa Salam.
